I’ve written about the Whisky renaissance Israel is going trough in the last year or so (after the Tax on whisky and other premium alcohol beverage was reduced a great deal), and another sign of this is the first EVER Whisky Live show in Tel Aviv, next week (March 5,6). Indeed it’s a very exciting step forward for the Israeli whisky community, and I’m very excited and looking forward to meeting you all there, and sharing a dram. I am by no means affiliated with the event, just supportive of the initiative.
If you are a whisky fan, I think you should def. come to one of the show days (either Wednesday or Thursday).
You can either buy a regular ticket, or a VIP ticket (which will give you access to more interesting whiskies), and there are also a few master classes, the first of which led by Jim Swan sounds very interesting (Aging whisky in Hot Climates), as well as a Glenmorangie and Macallan MCs.
To help blog readers who did not get a ticket yet, Whisky Live organizers are offering a special discount : (80 NIS instead of 119 NIS!) to Whisky Israel blog readers. just log into the WL site at : www.whiskylive.co.il , and enter code : whisky80 . there you go!
See you all there, come say Hi and share a dram with me.
Slainte!
Will there be a code for this years’ WhiskyLive in Tel Aviv?
