Another cask from the latest batch of Wemyss, This one is a Longmorn (not had one of those for some time!!) vintage 1992, and bottled at 46% like the rest of them.
Wemyss malts Coconut and Sandalwood , 46% abv
Nose: Mega coconut notes here. Really thick. Vanilla and quite a bit of wood of sandalwood if you wish. It’s very fragrant. Big and sweet. Ex bourbon to the max. Some morning cereal too.
Palate: Starts with the vanilla ice dream then develops into sweet sandalwood and lots if milk chocolate icicle. Some cocoa powder too.
Finish: Long and chocolaty. Wood and bits of coconut linger.
This is lovely stuff if you like that sort of profile. I know I do, and sweet wood and that lovely coconut, does make it a great autumnal sip.
