Duncan Taylor is a well known Independent bottler , producing more than 500,000 bottles of whisky anuualy. Founded in 1938,and based in Huntly. DC has ownership of one of the largest privately held collections of whisky & rare whisky casks. Duncan Taylor bottles whisky under a few brands , some of which are:
Peerless – The luxury range of very old whiskies
Rare Auld – Older casks, over 18 years of age, and most over 30,bottled at cask strength, from a single cask aged at the DC warehouses.
Lonach – vatting of two casks or more , usually when older whiskies fall under the minimum ABV%.
NC2 – 10 to 15 year olds, no colouring and no Chill filtration.
